Doch das Model ist mit seinen quirky Looks bitteschön auch eine wahre Style-Granate. Über ihren beschränkten Spitznamen wollen wir mal großzügig hinwegsehen.

Vielleicht sind wir zu streng, doch die Welt braucht, neben unserer eigenen verwaisten Online-Baustelle, wirklich kein weiteres überflüssiges Blog. Natürlich gibt es von jeder Regel Ausnahmen. cute boys with cats ist so eine Ausnahme. Das Fotolog zeigt die schönsten Fotos von, ähem, Jungs mit Katzen. A prayer for the wild at heart

Malcolm McLaren died of cancer yesterday. They paid tribute to him on Austrian radio this morning, quoting him saying that he was very happy to have made lots of money "with those ugly punk clothes" - isn't that just brilliant? Our dear friend Eva Tuerbl took his picture last year, probably one of his last official photographs. McLaren was the godfather of punk, he was cooler than punk itself, he was a genius! Rest in peace old man.

The Ghost Of A Saber Toothed Tiger

Sean Lennon ewig mit seinem Vater zu vergleichen, ist ein bisschen gemein. Zwar sieht er dem berühmten Papa ziemlich ähnlich, und erinnert auch in der Stimme ein wenig an den jungen Lennon, doch schreibt er selbst ganz großartige Songs von einzigartig lyrischer Schönheit. Nach diversen Solo-Projekten musiziert Lennon seit nicht allzulanger Zeit mit Model-Freundin Charlotte "Kemp" Muhl unter dem Namen The Ghost Of A Saber Toothed Tiger, kurz The GOASTT. Ihr musikalisches Brainchild klingt zwar gehörig nach swinging sixties, ist aber gerade deshalb wirklich hörenswert. Reinhören, bitte!

 "This music video for the band Asobi Seksu was conceived of and designed by Brooklyn-based illustrator Dan-ah Kim, a.k.a. dkim, and executed with the help of director Aaron Stewart-Ahn. The pair met while working as crew on a Michel Gondry project. This playful animation was done in camera without the aid of computers or green screens."
